Tractor Pull Rules

There will be 10 classes, 5 steel and 5 rubber. The Tractor Pull Official or Director will place the tractors in the proper
class.
Classes are as follows:

(GP, A John Deere, F20, Regular, 10-20, Fordson)
3 Plow
(D, G, F30, 22-36)
4 Plow
(40-62 Huber 25-50 Baker)
Operator:
Must be a current Pioneer Engineer member to pull.
First puller in each class may repull at any time during the
same class.
First puller may have to make several pulls for sled weight
adjustment.
Otherwise one tractor - one pull.
Operator must have a driver's license.
Operator must stay seated.
Tractor:
Tractor must be 1939 or older.
Tractor must be registered with a number.
Pull to be made in low gear only.
Tractor to run on gas or kerosene only.
Front wheels must not "rear" in excess of one foot during
pull.
Drawbar:
18 inch maximum drawbar height.
Drawbars must be stock appearing.
Drawbars may be shimmed for height.
Clevis hole in the drawbar must be at the original distance
from the center line of the rear axle.
The Pioneer Engineer Club will supply the clevis for all
tractors.
Weights and Wheels:
No add-on front weights allowed.
Tires may have fluid.
Only one standard rear wheel weight per wheel will be
allowed.
Steel wheel tractors with rubber bolted on will pull in
rubber tire class.
General:
Model steam engines can pull with the discretion of the
Tractor Pull Officials.
"Grudge pulls" will be allowed as time permits after all
the classes are complete. This will be done with the discretion
of the Tractor Pull Officials.

tractor pull. As you can see, this is more of an exhibition pull for the enjoyment
of our members than a big competition.
