Congratulations to our winners and a big thank you to all
those who participated in and supported our raffle!

This pretty little 1949 Pony is in for a makeover! She hails
from Connecticut - an acquisition made via the information superhighway - a
machine built in the old tradition but bought by the most modern of transactions
- eBay!
Here is a picture of the Pony with it's former owner, Ray
Currier of Connecticut (right) and Dale Sorber of the Pioneer Engineer's Club. Thanks go out to Mark Schrank who loaned the use of his pickup for
the 1780 mile journey the weekend before Thanksgiving, 2002.
Check back for updates!

Here are some pictures of the Pony in
various stages of restoration:

The pictures above show the frame of the Pony up on blocks
after Dale cleaned and sprayed it with primer. The ones below are of
various tractor parts with their primer coats applied.

And there you have it - a beautifully restored 1949 Massey
Harris Pony in gleaming red and yellow Dupont Centauri!

Full of spirit, the Pony was eager to run again. After
being completely dismantled and then reassembled, this tractor started on the
first try!
